Hey, I'm new here. Gonna pick up a chicken coop this weekend and get a few chickens. And 1 baby duck! they are so cute.

Thanks! Not sure what kind of chickens I'm gonna get yet. I want some chicks, but not real small ones. I want to raise them to be friendly.

Make sure you hold your chickens a lot when little. This way they can get used to you. You'll hopefully have no problem with them being unfriendly.

Oh, I'm sure I will be spending a lot of time with them. I dont have them yet, probably Sunday. The local feed store has lots of different kinds, and ducklings too. Cant wait to get them.
