New member from Kent in England

Hi I am a new member from Kent. I currently own three pet hens, a light Sussex called Hettie, a buff Sussex called Primrose and a white chicken, not sure what breed , called Daisy.
Hettie is 4 years old and frequently goes broody, this time we have given in to her maternal desires and bought her some fertile eggs, she has been sitting on ten eggs, cream leg bars and wellsummers for the past 8 days this is very exciting for us all but also slightly scary as we have never done this before. I expect I will be on here regularly asking all you experienced people for advice.
About me... I am married, have two grown up children, work as a registered veterinary nurse and also part time on a sheep and cattle farm, I also share my home with Lucy a golden Retriever and George my cat and a very forgiving husband who puts up with all my animal interests.
