I love the colors you chose for your coop, very traditional and country like an old red barn.

What kind of chickens are you going to keep in there?
 
It looks good but, not big enough. I know you said you was not going to get more than 5 or 6 but if you are like me we just keep getting more. I started with 7 last March and this morning we are up to 68 and eggs in the incubator. It is a nice coop though.

I started with nine and now have ten. So it is possible to not get too many more!

well , DH went to feedstore to buy a small bag of feed for 1 old english hen that was roosting in a tree in our yard . ( GOD only knows where she came from ) and NOW we have close to 100 ... I agree , him saying not more than 5 or 6 ? YEA RIGHT

NIce coop and run.But like everyone else I would have to say it will take alot of will power not to get more chickens.My dear g/f's son got us 1 pullet chick on Easter of last year and now we have 25 outside,and 10 chicks in the brooder.They are VERY addicting.

I like your pen and coop, great job. I do have the same type wire around my pen, I also have solid wood sides too. So far now predators have grabbed them, but also, not much for predators get into my yard. But, small chicks will get out if you start hatching. I've been very good at not getting more than 10 hens, although at times it is very very hard not to.
