Hi, new member here from Chester County, PA. I am researching into starting a small flock here in PA, as I'm relatively new to the east coast. I helped raise chickens, turkeys, emu's and rescue animals growing up in CA and spent over a decade in UT, so I'm not shy to the cold, but am trying to figure out breeds that will handle both the cold and heat here. Chickens will be the first animals my husband and I get to expand into homesteading (we do an extensive garden) and I am extremely excited to explore the forums!
