Hello everyone! I joined last week, but have just gotten around to making my first post (i've been too busy spying on my chickens). I am relatively new to chickens. I had a small flock of 6 older EE hens that were given to me last year, but they were attacked by raccoons and I lost all but one. I have started over again with 10 EE's that I picked up from Ideal Hatchery. I have successfully grown them all out into adulthood and I have 3 roos and 7 hens. I am fortunate enough to be able to keep my chickens at work, so I get to check on them 100 times a day. I am waiting (not so patiently at times) for my first egg, I can't wait!
