Ok thank you for the information! I think that I'm going to get the buff Orpingtons. Not going to get them till it warms up but in the mean time I'm going to find someone near me that might have some chicks this spring
It is so much easier to raise baby chicks in the spring, so it's better conditions outside when they need to be move to the coop. And it gives you time to decide how many you want and to get your coop plans up and going before it is needed. good luck, wishing you success.
