I am a new member to the community. I've already been reviewing the chicken coop designs and reading through the learning center. What great information! I just wish more of the coop designs had measurements and plans to go along with them. There are some creative folks out there!
I do not have any chickens yet. I am currently designing a coop that I will have made by a local carpenter. Since I live in the city (Lima, Peru), I only want to have about 2-3 hens for laying eggs. My wife and two daughters (2 and 4) are looking forward to fresh eggs and learning about taking care of the hens.
I found out about the website while reading the Dummies book on raising chickens. Thanks for all the great information!
