We are rural on a dead end road and have been the recipients of others relocations. Not all have been bad but most have been catch and release. This was dropped off. I didn't keep it but did find it a new home. Good luck and have fun...

Hello, and welcome! Maybe you could add some of that vitamin and electrolytes to the water for them? Good luck with your duck rescue!

Thank you! That was exactly what I did. We have B vitamins, manganese, and electrolytes that we add to the water. And they get premium duck feed to help them recover nice and quick. Their beaks are back to being orange, but sadly one of the females (who had the worst niacin deficiency-related leg issues) can no longer walk now that she's put on weight.

She slipped her tendon, but a friend of ours who healed up another duck with a similar issue is taking her for a while to see what magic she can do. If she can't walk, we'll still take care of her for as long as she seems like she wants to keep going. Luckily we have the time to do that.
