New member in Central Texas

Hi, I have 7 Cukoo Marans. I bought more chicks, but a possom got into my chicken coop and killed a bunch. When I went back to Tractor Supply to buy more, they were all sole out for the year. I also have 20 Jumbo Coturnix Quail. Since my quail quit laying eggs, I figured some of you experts could help me out. Thanks for any future help a head of time.

I am so sorry for your losses, predators are brutal. You definitely need to predator proof your coop, this critter will be back.

As for you quail not laying, they generally take a break in the winter to recharge their bodies. Once spring comes, days get longer, they will start back up laying.
