Hello everyone,
I am a 30 something Mom who works outside of the home full-time, I live with my DH and my 10-year-old son. We brought home 12 baby chicks a little over a month ago (lost one)...and all are doing well and getting big. We are in the process of building our coop/run combo and are having a ball with our chickens. We intend to only raise the chickens as layers at this point, and could be possibly talked into raising meat chickens down the road.
I have been frequenting this site since before I brought home the chicks and have found the information shared on here very helpful.
