I have 5 roosters in 3 different coops, but all free range together. I enjoy having roosters around for many reasons! They break up squabbling hens, watch over everyone, alert them to new foodstuffs, and the old boys teach the boys how the hierarchy works.
You may have to get a few (more than a few...) more hens if you want to keep them all together. Although, I know some people on here have flocks of only roosters. Maybe that would be an option for you!
