(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We had chickens about 40 some years ago. Now retired, I'm starting over with a new coop and new chicks.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Currently, and I know that could change, we have 7.

(3) What breeds do you have? 2 Australorp, 2 Golden Laced Wyandottes, 3 Americana

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Personalities, eggs, beauty, physical exercise.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Dog sledding, knitting, reading, gardening, dog training for competition

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We have Samoyeds and Maine Coons.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? Heard about your site from a Pinterest post.
