New member introducing myself !

Hello!
She's much better, thank you! The scales on her feet and legs (from mites) are almost completely gone and she's pest free- thanks to a neem oil bath and her own dust bathing. She's still a bit slim- breast bones protruding.. I'm not too sure how much she should be eating. She gets plenty of chicken feed for laying hens and she scratches around the yard all day and always seems to to be eating. She's crazy for meat.. Anything remotely meaty, she follows me around until she gets some.

Her eggs are huge! They keep getting bigger too. They've gone from 70g to 106g. The lastest one had 2 yolks too! I hope big eggs or double yolks are a sign she's healthy. Her yolks, however aren't as yellow/orange as shop bought eggs.. Does that mean anything?

Thanks for asking! I'll take any advice!

I've been told that the colors of their yolks have to do with how much sunlight they get. My girls yolks are more yellow because they don't get very much sun because of winter. But in the summer time they are almost orange. She sounds like she's a very happy chicken now. So glade she's found her forever home with someone like you.
