Hello Everyone,
I'm so glad to have joined your group. My daughter Amanda, has been a member for awhile now, and has referred me to your group. She talks highly of this site, and recommended that I join. Here is a little background about me, I am a Critical Care Nurse and my background is in the specialties of ICU and Emergency Room. I grew up in a small country town with farming in my blood, so I find solstice in gardening/farming. I am a mother of two, and both of my kids are also involved the agricultural life-style. I love organic gardening: vegetables, fruit bushes, and fruit trees, and luv my flower/herb gardens too. My daughter Amanda has her flock of chickens, which I have learned so much about, (I don't have chickens) but she is my "go to" person with animal advice. (I have two dogs and a cat). Together my kids and I have taken a "little bit of country" and have utilized it in my suburban backyard. They, both, have been a great help! My Peaches and Cream Hobby Farm continues to be an expanding project, one that I enjoy immensely.
I look forward to reading your posts, and gaining some insight. Hopefully, I'll be able to share some tidbits with you as well. Happy Farming y'all!
