New member introduction

I have a hubby who thinks it would be nice to have chickens wondering the yard on the property we just bought. I'm the figure it all out person, he is the build it person. We have never had chickens before. We have 10 chicks we have kept alive and well up to this point, 8-9 weeks of age. We bought at TSC, breeds, some are questionable. I'm not into chickens but was surprised to find them relaxing to watch. I am a self taught fine artist (who can't let go of her paintings), and do a little photography for reference photos. I can tell you photography won't be my day job. LOL I am also a between jobs/supposed to be waiting on my new job a specific new company to be ready, graphic designer. I have 2 grown children, one 4-5 month old Aussie mix and my hubby. I found the group on Facebook, but saw a post here I wanted to comment on.
