Hello there! We are relatively new chicken owners (have had chickens for less than a year). We live in a rural part of Israel, with a large yard where our chickens range free. Once we decided to take the plunge and get some chicks, there was no looking back. The chicks were of course great fun for our kids, and gathering eggs is still more!

I've been learning loads from backyardchickens, and finally decided to register. I'm looking forward to exchanging experience with fellow chicken-lovers!
