This is what they looked like when I got them on May 25th, about 4 weeks ago. Would you still say cockerel for both of them?

Hello and welcome to BYC! So glad you decided to join our happy flock. I'm a bit confused, although I'm not an expert on breeds but your French Feathered Marans look suspiciously like my Barred Rock pullets, only I'm thinking yours are cockerels. I'm known for being easily confused, just saying. Here is a recent picture of 2 of my BR's at 13 weeks.
