Hi! We fell in love with chickens when my kids started showing in 4H about 15 years ago. Our all time favorite named Sugar is a 6 year old White Rock bantam hen. Sugar is that old soul who when anyone picks her up they immediately feel peace and fall in love with her like our family. We have even taken her to visit nursing homes to help people. We are no longer showing but have kept the flock as pets for our now grandkids and would love more Sugars:) Does anyone know where we could find White Rock Bantams near Wisconsin?? Thank you!!!

Hiya, and welcome to BYC from another Wisconsinite. :frow

You could try our Buy/Sell Forum but honestly, my best luck is in the poultry forums for Wisconsin on Facebook. Do you need me to link a few for you?

Here's our Wisconsin Cheeseheads forum you could come say hi in too.

Hello! Welcome to BYC!

Welcome to BYC. I have found that its not so much the breed as the individual chicken that has a lovely personality. Having said that, I've found that most bantam cochins are very sweet. I also have never had a stand-offish standard langshan or crested cream leg bar.
