My name is Nancy. I live in Southeastern Minnesota. I just joined the BYC and am in search of a few (probably 3) pullets. I'm thinking I would like Easter Eggers, Golden Laced Wyandotts and/or Aruacanas (sp?).

I only have 3 chickens now ~ 2 roosters and a hen! See why I'm looking for pullets? Actually, the three get along very well. But I would like to add a couple more to my little flock. I also raise Shetland sheep. I have a website at: http:www.bluffcountryshetlands.com and a blog (with pictures of my rooster!) at: http:www.shepherdsvoice.blogspot.com

I may also be interested in 3 or 4 Guinee hens. Again, pardon my spelling. I'm NEW to this chicken ~ farmyard fowl ~ game! ;-)

Looking forward to learning from you!

I am from central MN and there is a hatchery not to far from me called Brau's Hatchery. They do not have a website but have plenty of birds. Including Americanans (Easter Eggers), that is where my girls came from. Might be to far for you to drive but if you are interested I have a brochure I can email you this evening, just let me know if you want it. Be sure to check Craigslist, there seems to be a lot of them on there right now!

Thanks for the welcome!

I would love to see the brochure from the MN hatchery.
I tried looking on Craigslist, yesterday, but couldn't figur out how to
narrow my search down to Minnesota...

Time for me to go to work...

I will email it to you, it is a PDF. Here is the link to Craigslist where you can select the city in MN closes to you. Just go into the Farm+Garden section and look around. It would be easiest to do a search for "chicks, chickens" or something like that.

from UT! Originally from MN, but the cold winters forced me away. I was going to suggest Stromberg's, but they only offer chicks in quantities of 25 (I believe) AND they are in Pine River. That would be a brutal drive. My next guess would be to try Craig's List.
