New member, looking for support.

Hi, Im new to this community and I'm looking for support. I have kept backyard chickens for 4 years in the Goddard, KS. area, a rural community outside of Wichita. I received a letter last week that I must rid of the hens(4) due to city ordinances. We have an Orschelns store here in city limits who sell chicks every spring and have all the supplies. The manager was unaware of this ordinance. I'm on the agenda to speak at the next Goddarrd city council meeting, May 7th to present my case, and Im hoping to change the city ordinance! Any support or suggestions are welcome. I'm starting my homework and plan on a powerpoint and handouts. I will also be taking the surrounding comminities and Wichita's ordinances and regulations.
