We bought 6 orpington buff hens and a small mobile coop from a friend in the spring. They are between 2-3 years old. Our neighbor's dog got one, but we still have five left. This is our first time to raise hens, and we hope to raise chicks next spring, since our girls are getting older. They have been fun and easy, so far!
