Hi! Brand new member to BYC but have been following for research & advice for a few years 
My family has a small homestead in a small country town in New England.
Besides expanding and moving around our gardens, compost etc, we are going into our third year of keeping ducks, and this year decided to add a few chicks- so I’m BRAND NEW to chickens!
Over the past few years we’ve had two different trios of pure white Muscovys, a Musovy hen and her six babies (now enormous) with beautiful unique coloring, Pekins, Khaki Campbells, and we just added Indian Runners, Black Swedish, and are trying silkie chickens!
We have big homesteading dreams- we would love to add goats and a cow and at least double our gardens, and are looking into different small farming / agricultural grants to expand our property!
