Hello, I was wondering where are places in or near Wichita, Ks. or nearby, to purchase baby chics?
Also how will I know im getting female chics?

You could always order chicks from a hatchery online.

You can Google feed stores in your area I guess? Does anyone still use yellow pages?

If you only want females (like, 100% cannot have males) you could consider sexlinked chickens, which can be sexed by color or feather pattern. Otherwise "sexed" chickens have roughly a 90% accuracy rate. Do not get straight run.
