Hello, my name is Lexi!
My husband and I have been together 5 years and have two cute babies. We just moved into our new home last April and I have been dying for chickens to love on! I grew up working on a farm and always loved the chickens! Now we have four of our own. They are pullets! We have 2 Barred Rocks, and 2 Silver Wyandotte. I love my girls. Their names are Barbie, Trudy, Gertrude (Gertie), and Missy. Barbie is definitely the leader, but is extremely sweet lets us hold her and pet her and eats out of our hands. The other girls are sweet but definitely more timid than Barbie from the start. We can also pet and hold them, but my husband and I definitely feel something special about miss Barbie. Therefore, our coop is named the Barbie dream coop. We both agreed our sweet sweet girl deserves to die naturally and not for eggs and or slaughter. We love our other girls, but she has a special twinkle. Anyways, we are so so so excited to be here and I can’t wait to give all my girls so much love and care until their last days!
