Okay got 10 free chicks with the purchase of 50# of starter/grower feed. All that was promised was they were straight run. 4 weeks old now.

I got a few of them figured out.

I know they are sicilian buttercup, but are they roos or pullets?

Now what about all these jokers?

Cochin--roo or pullet?

And this white job, he has a few grey spots on his back. He's a biggun too!

These black jobs, the larger ones have a brown flecking on their backs.

All hatchery chicks, at this age its hard to tell , white rocks and astrolops best guess, probably all roos . The buttercups , I use to raise them, I am about 90% sure are cockerels.

6- EE roo? What color legs?
7- Black Star pullet
8- EE ? Could be either gender- not pea comb, so can't tell
9- Looks like 9?
10- Australorp?

It would greatly help if a good close look at the comb was possible, while leg color is also important.
