Hi all,
I am a new member and sm looking for some help. I am new to keeping chickens and have got two Peking Batums, Mr and Mrs Grey, they are always together, and I also have two Polish Fizzle chickens which are adorable and so tame. However as of yesterday one of my Frizzle's (Frazzle) is looking pretty sad, just sitting on his own, I picked him up and checked him over for injury's but cant find anything and later on he seemed to be waling about with the others and was fin again. this morning he hasn't left the chicken coop and is sitting on s perch looking cheesed off again. I've tried outing some food and water in with him but hes not looming interested.... any ideas???? I cant see anything obvious, he's no coughing or leaking and fluids etc.
I'm Sarah by the way in a little village called Mettingham in very windy at the moment Suffolk.
I got my chickens as youngster in the summer and love sitting out with them, not got to do it so much through the winter as they are in bed by the time I come home from work. cant wait until springtime again so I can enjoy my evening brew with them, they are so entertaining and friendly.
Thank you for reading and merry Christmas to all
