New member with chickens in Montana

Very nice brooder. I love the picks admiring themselves in the mirror. Never thought of that. Most times people only use a mirror or a single chick that is lonely. It's funny that they like to see the images regardless.

Do you have a wire top for the brooder, to keep them from flying out and also provide ventilation? Hard to believe they start out so tiny and then fill the space rapidly.

I'm glad you enjoy the pictures of the ladies. They are funny. Yesterday one of the ladies was turning around in the mirror and looking at herself.

It was great. I never realized before how much they can make one laugh. We all hang out and watch them. I saw someone other people posting about putting a mirror in with their ladies and always wanted to try it. At first my family thought I was nuts. Now they all love it.
My husband is going to make a lid the for box. Then I'll make perches and put those plus blocks in for them to play on. When it warms up I'll interduce them to outside in a dog kennel (wired ) so they can be on the ground and get sunshine. Hoping we get more soon.
