You should try and get the ordinances changed. Many members here have done so successfully in the past. Have a look around the Laws and ordinances section as suggested, for tips. Best of luck!

So sorry you can't keep chickens in your area! Definitely approach your city council and try to get the laws changed. I have never had to do it, so I really have no tips for you. But you have been left with some good links to follow here and great advice.
