Hello! I am a former zoo keeper who now lives in Iowa. I take in a lot of rescue animals to our farm. As far as relevant animals to this group go, I have one rooster (who someone in town bought as a chick and couldn't keep because of his crowing), two ducks (someone's teenager bought them as ducklings and hid them in his room until mom found out), a peacock and three peahens.
On the "other" animal side of things I have 4 ferrets, 2 amazon parrots, 4 conures, 5 inside cats, 3 barn cats, a Russian tortoise, an alpaca, 2 goats, a gecko, and 2 foster rabbits.
I am happy to be in this group! Having worked with exotic animals mostly I sometimes have questions about the outside birds and have searched this forum in the past. There seem to be a lot of knowledgeable people on here, which is very helpful.
