Any pointers on what to say to prove my case
desire is for 3 chickens, single family home, fenced, agreeable neighbors, not backed up to another home but the woods,?
    Excited to learn!

You may also want to post on your state thread in case some folks would like to rally round your cause or can give you tips when they had to do the same thing. Good luck and hope you prevail.

[IMG] Hi there jllanger and [IMG]! We're happy you could join us!

Dogs. They bark, bark, bark. Morning, noon, and night. They do give companionship, but no eggs! And they are soooo loud!! And they are perfectly legal (at least in most parts of the country)! If necessary, point out that you will be getting only hens (no roosters). Point out you will keep the coop clean and safe. Hopefully that helps and good luck!
