(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Web searching chicken information

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

My daughter is the reason for us getting into raising chickens. She has wanted some for a few years now and we finally gave in. She seems to not have as much interest in them as in the beginning. Guess the cleaning and feeding is not fun for her, lol. Plus the fact that she just got her drivers license so she is never home anymore. I have really enjoyed raising them myself. Watching them with all their personalities has been very entertaining. The first 2 we got were about 4 months old so we skipped the baby chick rearing. The last batch of ones we got were about a week old so a whole new learning experience.

Kids seem to have a way of doing that. My older sister wanted a canary when we were kids. She took care of it for about a month and well, I ended up taking over.

Just the same I know you will end up loving your chickens. Thank you for joining the BYC flock :frow
