Hi. New member here. My daughter and her fiancée just bought a farm and plan to raise chickens along with other animals. Wants me to help construct the coop for 30 to 50 birds. Lessons learned would be helpful. Live in SC so moderate winters. Thanks.

I would suggest building a coop and run for 50 but start with 10--something small to help learn the ins and outs of raising chickens. Husbandry can be tough and the first year or so you will learn about the types of predators at your place along with illnesses
