Welcome to BYC! Good luck with your chickens. From everything I've read about flocks, I would not recommend trading roosters or hens back and forth - that would really mess with pecking orders. (Which can be a helpful technique, say if you've got a really harsh hen, but not something to do casually.) I hear people play all sorts of games with fertile eggs and baby chicks, though.
