Welcome aboard and have a great time with your new child. (Lol). Yes I would get her some buddies. Once you see you could use more eggs regularly you are going to want more anyway. Lol. I have 9 hens and need more eggs so we are hatching out more now. We would like to get a dozen a day if possible. We are getting about 6-8 a day now. My husband is very popular at work. Lol. But we do go through a lot of eggs and milk. Maybe next a mini cow. Lolol
