Its funny that you say that because I already have changed the number of chickens I have decided to start with from 4 to 8 and I don't even have any yet. I saw a Bald Eagle yesterday eating a rabbit on my property. Made me a little nervous as they can carry off a full grown chicken. Eagles are not a common occurrence. It figures

Thank you Penny1960, I had a very sturdy coop build with a run although they will be able to free range most of the time. I'll have to look for posts in Maryland
