I’m from Baton Rouge, LA. Granddaughter and I learning how to get set up for 6 laying hens. I am new to chickens. We have no coop or anything at this time. Looking into maybe Golden Comet hybrid hens. I used to raise few rabbits many years ago. I am disabled from 5 spinal surgeries so I will have to purchase coop / run etc. I been lurking BYC a little while and like your information very much.
