I imagine a Freedom Ranger hen has a more normal life expectancy than a Cornish Cross.
Has that old gal BO been free ranging all these years?

yes, but for the past 2 years she winters as a house hen, once it gets real cold she just sits by my window and stares, she knows the scoop.
