Hello, and welcome! Good luck with your flock and in finding some more of the hertiage breed's to add. Are you planning on also getting a rooster so that you can replentish your flock later on as needed?

Yes we would like to eventually get a rooster. Hoping to have one as a chick or hatch one out by my head hen so it’s maybe a little more acceptable to her if her adopted son takes over the flock. She takes her big mama boss hen job pretty seriously. She gets quite broody so hoping to get some fertilized eggs from my cousin and put under her.
