Right now I have 9 hens, 2 turkeys- 1 Tom 1 hen, and 2 bantams- 1 rooster 1 hen. The bantams were given to my stepson from his grandparents who raise them

See above… as far as the 9 hens go, I’m honestly not sure of their breed

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
So far, I just enjoy how relaxed I am when I’m outside with them, watching them interact… and my favorite part is watching them roosting and settling in for the night

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy all different types of crafting

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My boyfriend and I have a blended family of 5 children. He has 3 boys and I have 2 girls. Our youngest is 17. They’ve all moved out… so our animals are our babies now. We have 4 cats, one of which is a Bengal. They have their own room, but prefer to sleep with us. I’m the manager of a gas station and he works construction…

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D
