I think her sinuses are swollen. But it could just be the breed. How does her sinuses look as compared to the same breed? What I mean is look at how open (out stretched) the nostrils are.

I didn’t notice that but I will check again tomorrow. I stayed outside with her all evening and she was scratching and eating/drinking like normal.

How is she today? To me she looks like an apparently healthy bird with a swollen wattle. I do not think that she is dealing with an infectious entity. I would guess more likely that it is a hematoma as a result of an injury or bite.

She looks the same today. It hasn’t gone down but it also hasn’t gotten any bigger either so I’m hoping that’s a good sign She is still eating, drinking, scratching etc.
