I put the eggs in a pan of room temperature water, covered by at least inch of water. bring to a rolling boil uncovered, then cover and set aside for about 8 minutes. Run cold water over the eggs immediately.

Thank you for the information. I think I like the idea of baby chicks. I think I would prefer it. then the will be family pets as well. I have a lot of other hobbies, to many to list really. I am going to school for an Associates Degree in business. I think I am going to have a hobby farm it will work with my hobbies.

Hobby Farms are great ! But still require a lot of work and back up if you go on Vacation and such .. But Bring so much Joy.. I Have a small hobby Farm that I am starting to expand , but already thinking of what am I going to do when I go away in May .. I LOVE LOVE My Hobby Farm.. except when I have to go to the Feed store ; )
