Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! A great place to start reading is the Learning Center, lots of great articles on all aspects of poultry keeping. https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center
If you want to figure out what breed and age your chickens are, you can post pictures in the What Breed Or Gender Is This forum for help with that https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this
With your ducks, check out the duck forum for help with the little guys https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks and here is a really nice thread on raising ducklings. https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/750869/raising-and-caring-for-ducklings
Good luck with your flock!

Welcome to BYC!

Kelsie has really left you with links to get you started. If you have any further questions, that is what we are here for. Welcome to our flock!

Welcome to BYC. Be aware that drakes in a chicken flock can possibly present problems when they reach sexual maturity.

Also when chickens and ducks are raised to together (like in a brooder) the ducks like to splash and make an awful mess but, chicks don't like being wet and can be harmed by it.

Outside is a a different story . But again the drakes can be a real problem going after hens. Ducks are built differently than chickens. A drake can badly injure or kill a hen trying to breed her.
