My Lavender Orps started laying yesterday... that long awaited first egg... what a good girlie! She had that shocked "did I do that?" look! yipee!

Im up cathunter but only cuz I haven't been to bed yet haha im a bit of a nightowl. As for the wind i live on the flats between deming and silver city out here the winds get to hurricane force and its alllllllll dried grass. So fire is baddddd. Lol
