Ive been putting mine out between 4 and 5 weeks. they get used to it really quick, just make them a wind free area to roost in at night is all they need really.Hey everyone. I have been looking all over and had a question. My 4 oldest chicks ( around 5 weeks old) love to go outside during the day, so much so that they don't want to come in at night. Is it ok if I leave them out at night now? they all have almost all their big girl feathers, and don't seem to be cold. (I also have 2 3-4 week old ones that are still under the heat lamp, so I really can't move it outside.) I posted this in the NM thread because if I tried elsewhere they would ask me about the avg, temp and other stuff that's hard to explain about NM weather. haha![]()
