Can't tell well-enough from the picture, but the "Big-Boy" could be a young (immature) Eagle ....just judging from the white markings.....but probably a Hawk....2 or 3 types in YOUR AREA have white markings like that.

That sounds like a good idea! Since one of my neighbors is having trouble with a young eagle who knows,, they might be leaving the mountain too!

Writer--could they be Harris Hawks? We have them here in Tucson and they hunt in social family groups. They are brutal on pets in Tucson.
