So excited to have found the Middle TN page. Thank you Kandie for sharing. We purchased a group of EE's from her a couple weeks back- all doing BEAUTIFULLY, growing and no losses. Any advise would be great. We have a group of "toddlers" that are now 6 weeks old (5 silkes and 2 wyanodottes) that we are presently in the house. We are wanting to move them outside now since they are feathered. With our weather changing- will it be okay to move them outside during this coming week? We are not putting them into the main coop because clearly they are not ready to be in with the big chickens yet. We are using our "townhouse" extension. Do we need a heat light for them when we move them out? The silkies are not nearly as tall as the wyandottes. Thanks in advance everyone.
