New mixer

Buy a Bosch mixer, you too can make professional looking cakes!
Seriously though, my lovely wife used the mixer to make this Italian Cream Cheese cake. It did an excellent job beating the egg whites to stiff peaks, making the batter and making the frosting.

If only we had floured the cake pans...

LOL...Don't you just love it when a plan comes together!

My mom always used to say that it didn't matter what it looked like as long as it tasted good.

Crumb looks nice. Did you do a pre-ferment?? or did the mixer give that texture?

I did not on those breads but I did this weekend.
Put 24 ounces of water in the mixer along with 18 ounces of flour and a pinch of yeast and gave it a quick mix and just let it sit in the mixer overnight. Added the other 18 ounces of flour the next morning. It worked very well. I had just about quit pre-fermenting but may start back now.

Very nice crumb especially without pre-fermenting. Your new mixer must knead well!!
My kitchen-aid is paid for, so will stick with it until the bitter end.
