New Moscovy duck mommy needs help pleaseee!!

Muscovies are not the same as Mallard derived eggs for hatching. I personally hatch all eggs with the same humidity as I do chicken eggs. Some successfully hatch Mallard derived eggs at a higher humidity, but I wouldn't recommend it with Muscovy eggs. In my environment that means no water in the incubator until lock down. In numbers it is 30 percent or so.
Your egg can still hatch. It has lost some moisture and once it draws down right before hatch should have room for the duckling. Good luck.
Thank you for the reply! I have it at 30% humidity still until the air cell gets to the size it's supposed to or lockdown. I'm praying she will hatch 🐣 and be just fine!

Welcome to BYC
Woth duck eggs I only run humidity at 40-45 till lockdown
The air cells are small cause the egg isn’t loosing enough liquid
I would lower to 35-40 till lockdown to get them to increase
As for the ones stuck to the side of the egg that’s more of a turning issue not humidity
If you have an auto turner I would make sure it’s fully turning the eggs as they are bigger then chicken eggs and turners don’t always turn them properly
Or hand turn 3-5 times a day
Good luck and keep us posted

I just wanted to update everyone on Nugget! She is so far doing very well! Her air cell got dramatically bigger, she internally pipped 2 days ago and externally pipped today!! :celebrateI can see her pecking away in there and even heard her chirp once! I'm still praying as she has an exhausting long journey to come out but I am on high faith she is strong and will be just fine:love I will be on the edge of my seat for the next 48 hours for sure!:jumpy:oops::fl Thank you all for your well wishes and help! <3 <3
