We moved to the country 7 years ago, got involved in 4-H poultry chain and became addicted. We now have 146+ birds according to recent NPIP certification. We now have Royal Palm, Bourbon Red, Broad Breasted Bronz Turkey, Tolbunt Polish, Black White Crest Polish, French Black Copper Marans', Sumatra, Americana, Red Jungle Fowl, Bantam Cochin, and Crested Ducks. We have 4 humans in the house and many non-human friends throughout the property. Haflinger, Tennesse Walker, Mustang, AQH, Gypsy Vanner horses, Suffix X Hampshire sheep, 4 barn cats that spend most of the time at the house with us, a Rough Coat Collie, Hairless Chinese Crested, Great Pyrnese, and a Heinz 57. I'm betting that this story is quite common on this site
