New Nesting Boxes.....

We recently had new nesting boxes built and installed. We went from 4 plastic gray Tractor Supply boxes (they were nice) to 21 box unit. I have 14 hens and 19 more that are almost 3 months old. I'm assuming we crashed the party as it seems no one is laying eggs?? There have been a few but not the normal. Is this normal? And if so, when will they get back in the groove? Thanks

Chickens hate change so it could be a couple of weeks while they sort things out. From your photo it does look like they're at least willing to get in the boxes.

That's a nice nest bank!
They'll adjust in time.
If you free range, it might be a good idea to confine them to coop and run until they acclimate.
Wonders with as high as that is if you'll have any trouble with them roosting in the upper ones...depending on your roost heights.

I really just wanted a double stacker but my son-in-law decided to put the third row on top. I doubt anyone will ever visit there and may not even use the second level. The girl that is in the picture is extremely broody. She needs washed out and the door boarded up. Poor thing. I haven't had a rooster in a couple of years. I have recently acquired one but he is still very young.
